Now presenting: Sketchbook, Page 4
I’ve just published the 5th and final entry in Page 4 of the Sketchbook series. The recording is called “Flying Home”, and, as always, is free for you to listen to and download.
As the winter settles in, I’m looking forward to sketching out a new chapter of musical exploration. Thank you for turning the pages with me.

Just in: Sketchbook, Page 4, #4
I’ve just published the 4th entry in Page 4 of the Sketchbook series: a solo piano recording called “Snowstorm”. I made this recording on a public Yamaha upright, in which I noticed a few particular qualities: in general, a very muted character; in the highest octave of the keyboard, a particularly sparkly, chilly ambiance (especially when played forte); and, in the lowest octave, a sort of cloudy, percussive, almost prepared-piano timbre. This new recording makes use of these extreme registers to create a variety of tempestuous effects. As always, it’s free for you to listen to and download.
