Map of emfred.com

emfred.com is structured in the following way:

- The Home page

acts as the main destination for visitors. It’s laid out like a newspaper that you can scroll down through to see announcements of new content, banners describing key sections of the site, and other curios. If you’re new to emfred.com, the best way to explore it is to wander through the home page and click on any links that catch your interest.

Branching off from the Home page, the site is divided into various

Sections

which hold specific groups of content.

- The Services section

is where I advertise the services that I offer as a tutor, music producer, composer, and web designer.

- The Blog section

contains my writings on various topics (primarily music and literature). Posts are organized by tags, making it easy for readers to browse groups of similar posts.

- Programs

is a set of articles on pieces of software that I’ve written. Like the Blog posts, they’re organized by tags.

All programs in the series are open-source, and hosted both on this site and on my Github page.

- Sketchbook

is an ongoing series of miniature albums of music that I’ve composed and produced. It’s designed to reflect the structure of a physical sketchbook, and includes such accoutrements as a cover and a table of contents.

- Recordings Without Words

is a collection of live recordings of my piano playing.

- EPR

stands for Emfred Public Radio, an in-progress project which aims to deliver a series of long-form audio pieces focused on in-depth discussions of art and all things beautiful. Episodes will be structured like radio programmes, complete with original music, mock ad-breaks, and various other auditory adventures.

The initial episodes of EPR are currently in development. Check back soon!

- The Reviews section

contains my reviews of pieces of music and literature.

- The About section

is the section you’re in right now: a collection of pages describing emfred.com and its content.
